So with children, I know its always a toss up. ages 3 and 4 must be very....emotionally challenging for children. That's all I am going to say. HAHAH!
But HEATHER and I had a blast! Lots of good conversation, pizza, and CRAFTING!!! Of course. ;) Heather and I dove in head first.
I managed to get to 2 challenges and get a random card in too. AND half a scrap page, but you will see that later. You know, when its done. ;)
This first card I made was for Friday Sketchers. I used DCWV papers, and Martha Stewart baubles. Gretel is one of my new stamps from my birthday stash. I colored her with Bics and Copics. Used a hint of stickles on her wing.
This next card is by far, my fave of the day. I made this card for Anyone 4 Anya. Their theme this week was, Fabulous Flowers. Heather brought these AWESOME HUGE flowers and I HAD to have one! It was perfect for this challenge, and so was this DCWV paper! I also used the Martha Stewart baubles again. in LOVE with those things! Popped out part of Anya's skirt as well as the flowers around her head. Used Bics and Copics to color her.
This last card was a wild card, so-to-speak. Just a fun card. Used my Paper Studio papers that I am in LOVE with from Hobby Lobby and used copics to color her. The gems were from Heather and then I stickled the papers and the image for some added pizazz.
Hope you enjoyed these cards! Stay crafty!

Scrappy mama strikes again
Well, I succeeded in 2 simple pages today. I am really getting into buying wallet sizes so I can put a lot more pictures in my albums. Cheating, maybe...but genius? Defiantly!
This first page was a very recent event. Moss Wright Park has a 'Touch a truck' every year where they park tons of AWESOME vehicles out in the blazing heat and let the kids go nuts. Good thing they were selling popsicles, because it has been ridiculous off the charts hot, hot HOTT here! So here is Noah with the party bus, the swat truck, the fire truck, the crane, and the army jeep. He also got on a few other things, but at the risk of making a 2 page layout, I only printed these, haha.
This last one is WAY simpler than I indented and I may go back and do some more. This was back a couple of months ago when Heather T and Noah's "best friend" Jack, came to visit and sorta card, haha. We all trooped to Monkey Joes. It was a blast! Those boys know how to play!

Some Odd Shimmers
Good morning, er....afternoon...its been a long day already, and I needed a break, hince....my card.
This week Some Odd Girl had their release, and I am in LOVE with this image, so I sprung for it. I could easily go broke on digis, esp Some Odd Digis, but you know....all in moderation, right?
This week the challenge at Some Odd Girl was to make your card/project shimmer and sparkle and such. So, I used MerMae and some old paper I had from DCWV that shimmers, as well as some sparkly yellow also from DCWV. I colored MerMae with a combination of Bics and Copics. I LOVE how she turned out. Trust me, its better in person! To add some shimmer to Mae, I used my jelly roll stardust pen and went to town. Not sure how much you can see, but I did her hair, her shell, her fin, her eyelashes...yeah. Went a lil shimmer nuts. HAHA. Be sure to click on the pic for the full size so you can see the shimmer. :D

Hope to be back again this weekend! Trying to get some scrap pages done. A lil daunting, but worth it! Stay crafty.

Twofer Thursday!
Not sure what is going on, but Noah was content to play alone today leaving me bored after I finished most of my chores. WHAT? Not possible!!!
So I quickly got to work on some cards and completed two. WHAT? Awesome!!! Such good therapy for my melancholy mood this week.
This first card is for Some Odd Girl...but the image is a boy. ::shrug:: I am in LOVE with Some Odd Girl and everyone needs to check them out! Their challenge this week was a sketch, which, I loved. Its very my style so I jumped right in and here are the results! Hope the boys in the audience aren't offended by the flower background...its subtle, right?
This next card is for a blog I just happened upon a week or two ago, Tuesday Morning Sketches. This sketch was very intriguing and I couldn't wait to use my new Swiss Pixie, Nurse Nora for it!!! Happy Birthday To Me!
Thanks for hangin, and stay crafty!
