Happy weekend!

I think I just broke a record, or something. Did I just post like....tons this week? WOW!

So this first card is for Cute Critters Club. (over on cafe mom). This was HARD. not sure what was up with the directions, or if it was just me, but MAN. ANYwho, after some tweaking and playing around I got a double pocket card! YAYs! I LOVE this card! Its so....SUMMER and CHEERful.. The images are from Stampin Up, "Fishy Friends". I used my bic markers to color, and the cardstock is all from DCWV. And, of course....stickles! Stardust, Lime Green and Aqua.

This second card is for Friday Sketchers. I am in LOVE with this image from Digital Two For Tuesday. Can you tell? I have used it TONS, lol! This paper is from DCWV and I am in love with it too. I used my brand new copics on this image. You can see I am still learning, but starting to really love working with them!

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

Cards and FUN!

Wow! I got THREE challenges done today at the best play date EVER! Noah and I went to Heater T.'s house and it was a BLAST! The boys played together like they had been together forever. Heather and I got stuff done, and chatted the day away! Ahh. Great end to a LONG week!

This first card is for Cupcake Craft Blog Challenge. Their theme this week is, "friendship". I have had this image in my stash from the Stamping Bella website for awhile and just KNEW it was going to be perfect. The card just fell together. The sentiment was from Heather's stash. Not sure of the co. Sorry! For a final touch I used stickles for some pop.

This next card was for The Creative Card Crew. Their theme this week was, "Get Well Soon". Digital Two For Tuesday had posted this image and I knew it was PERFECT for this! The vintage paper is from Color Bok. Have had it for a couple of years and LOVE it. The lace was the perfect final touch...from Heather's stash, he, he, he....I am seeing a theme here.

This last card was for Sweet Sketch Wednesday. This image is from Penny Black. I LOVE it! Something about it. I dunno. I think I got this image from my friend, Jenny the last time we stamped together. The sentiment was...from....Heather's stash, he, he, he. I popped out the little chicken for some dimension. The paper is from American Craft. A score from Gatlinburg at Christmas.

Today was a GRRRREAT day!

I MADE IT! Phew!

I am getting this card in under the WIRE, but I LOVED this sketch from Get Sketchy  and REALLY wanted to get this posted! Deep cleaned the crafty area yesterday and found these paper scraps and fell in love with them all over again! I used a TGF image and my bics. I popped out the front of her hat to add more depth...and, what's a card without some bling? I stickled the flowers on the circle for some pizazz! I didn't have a sent that I liked for this card for some reason, so I just penned this one. I am SOOO ready for this cold weather to be OVER!!!

Just a few things

Howdy and happy Monday night! Hope you all had a great time and it wasn't too, "Monday-ish" for you. It was a lil Monday-ish here, but we survived AND I made cards...can't be that bad, right?

This first card...the pic is not the best color representation, BUT I love the card and had a blast making it. The Penny Black challenge this time around was a color challenge and I couldn't wait to get started! Green, Yellow and Pink. What a GREAT combo and how lucky for me that this paper in my scrap bin was perfect! This image is just adorable and I wanted to add some oomph to it so I added some dimension. Popped out the balloons and the package. Used copics and a bic to color the lil guy. He's so cute and cuddly!!!

Okay. Onto the next project. I made this card set for a "wonderful friend" of mine for her birthday. Along with something else, but if I post it might give it away. SO, you just get the card set. ;)

Lastly, be SURE to check out Papermom.com's blog tomorrow morning! Going to have a challenge and the winner receives TWO IMAGES!!! So be sure to stop by around 9 tomorrow and check it out!

Here is one of the two cards I made for that challenge as an example:

G'night all!

So Many Cards, So Little Time....

But somehow I was able to make cards for 3 challenges today! Wowzers, right?

This first card that I made is for The Little Paper Shop (Distressing) and for Anyone For Anya? (Flower Power). Love me some Miss Anya. She always just goes right together with no fuss. I used all scraps for this card. Really doing my best to get through some. I mean...my box is exploding, LOL!! I added some fake stitching and a button that was RAKd to me. Used my copics to color Miss Anya. Still learning how to use them, but I think I am getting the hang of things. Practice makes perfect.

This last card is for the Cute Critters Club over on Cafe Mom. It was a sketch challenge. I LOVE this freebie from Dustin Pike. The papers were RAKd from Ms. Heather T. A few stickles make the card pop.

I hope you enjoyed these cards! Hope to be back with more maybe tomorrow or Thursday!

Stay Crafty!

Mojolicious Tuesday

Hello, and good Tuesday evening to you all! I hope you are all doing well and that this winter weather isn't putting too much of a damper on your mojo!

I have done two challenges here. YAY! Not bad for a splutty winter afternoon in TN.

This first one is for "Anyone For Anya" challenge. This week's was intriguing. "Good enough to eat". I chose a "lemon and lime" or "golden delicious and granny smith" color scheme. This paper is some I got on clearance from Martha Stewart and I LOVE it. This Anya was PERFECT for this paper! It was like they were made for each other! I colored her with copics and a green bic.  I sewed zig zags onto the paper and sewed the yellow button down.
This second card is for Mojo Monday. I loved their sketch, but was kind of at a loss for some reason, paper-wise, but it all came together in the end. I used another vintage image from Digital Two For Tuesday. LOVE her stuff! She has two new great ones today! Be sure to check it out!
Also, tomorrow is the last day to take advantage of the papermom.com sale! All digis are buy 2 get one free! In case you aren't sure how to get your freebie, go ahead and order the two you will pay for and email me and let me know which you would like for free. Happy Wednesday!

Its WEDNESDAY! Yay! You ready for the downhill slide? You can practically SEE the weekend at the end of the tunnel!

Today I just have one card for you, but I hope you enjoy it. This was for the KL Stampin Scrappin Blog challenge. They are having a GREAT prize drawing this week! Not to mention, the sketch is beautiful!

I used this vintage image again from Digital Two For Tuesday's blog. She has some AMAZING free stamps, as well as some great acrylic for sale! I colored this image with mostly copics. I think I had to resort back to bic for the green, though. (Did I mention that copics are 30% off at Hobby Lobby this week?)

I hope you enjoy this post! Hope to be back tomorrow with more! Off to clean and get ready to go OUT for ADULT time this evening! A good friend's birthday! WOOT! Stay Crafty!

On a roll

Two posts in one day? NOT possible! That would mean I had been creating, and that's just not possible with a 3 year old, right? Ha!

This first card I am in LOVE with! These colors are SO great together and the image is so sweet! Love lil miss Anya! This card is for "Anyone For Anya".Used Copics, a Bic and Stickles to make her just perfect. The sentiment came from an angel company set. Love it! The papers came from DCWV and Sassafrass. (the blue is called Dapper Dan, LOL)

This next card is for the Cupcake challenge blog! Their theme is "four legged and furry". I immediately thought of  Mo's Digital Stamps and this freebie that I have from her shop. This little guy reminds me of my Noah and our cat. I know, I know. The image is of a DOG, but this is how things play out here with our cat. They are best buds. The paper is all scrap. YAY!

Also, don't forget about the Papermom.com hop! Its hoppin, and there's a freebie in it for you just for hopping. AND, if you hop you get a chance to win another! So, get over there and HOP!

Feeling Pink!

Does anyone else do this? You are making a bunch of cards in a day or a week...and you end up using the same colors quite by accident? Yup. I have that problem a lot. :)

This first card was for the "Anyone 4 Anya" challenge last week, but I missed my deadline. Oops. BUT, I wanted to share it with you anyway. =0)

This card is for Cute Card Thursday. The challenge this week was "bloomin gorgeous." This madelyn image with her beautiful hat and this paper with subtle floral flourishes seemed perfect. I also added a flourish from my "accent essentials" cartridge. The paper is all scrap. I was a good girl...LOL Madelyn was colored with my copics and my white gel pen for added accents.

Be sure to check out Papermom.com today too! I am having my first ever blog hop! 2 lucky hoppers will receive a free digital image, so be sure to hop on over!!!
