Relay and hearts

So, the first card I am posting is for The Greeting Farm's CHA relay contest. I am SO STOKED! I can't WAIT to see what image they come up with for tomorrow! WOOT! I got on this as soon as I was able today. I wasn't sure about a mer man, but I think I did a pretty neat job. ;) The paper and borders came from a store in Gatlinburg, TN. Not sure of the name. Ian was colored with bics and copics, and of course, even mer men can have some shimmer, right? So I used 2 colors of stickles.
This next card is for Cardvaarks. The challenge for this week was "red and hearts" so, I used this bella image that I received in a recent swap and made her all red and classy. (and yes, those are stickles).
Sorry this is a short post. Not much sleep last night and I am loosing cognitive function now, LOL Backspacing every other letter. HA

Hope you enjoyed!

Happy Wednesday!

Today I have 3 challenges for you!! Been kinda lackin the mojo dept card-wise. Doing my best, though!

This first card is for Mojo Monday. They had a fabulous sketch this week! (as always).

This image was a freebie, but for the life of me I can't find the blog again. Ugh, I am so upset, but as soon as I find this blog I will post on papermom.com and let you all know because this lady is amazing talented and has a new freebie almost every week! SO amazing!
This next card was for Get Sketchy. I admit, I had a hard time with this sketch. The DT examples were amazing, but I just couldn't get the look I was going for. The images are from papermom.com and are available for sale in my shop. the papers are from making memories and I CB'd the pink paper and then stickled the flourishes.
This last card is for the LPS blog challenge. Their challenge was, "In Love". This freebie from Dustin Pike was perfect! I colored him with my bic and prisma markers and stickled his heart with fruit punch stickles.
I hope to be back no later than tomorrow morning with a great tutorial for papermom.com! Its taken me awhile to perfect the project, but I think I have it now, lol!

Monday! Its Monday!

Not that I am overly excited about that fact, but considering its only 12:40 and I have done 2 cards already, I think that's pretty awesome for a Monday!

This first card is for Stamptacular Sunday. They had a great sketch and I knew at once it was another chance to use my beautiful Miss Anyas from the Greeting Farm...one of the best Christmas presents evah!
I colored her with copics and bics. I am still learning the "shiny" coloring technique and LOVING it! Needing more copics or primas, lol!

The paper is from Ms. Heather T. DCWV! Love this stack! I think its the kitchen stack. Going to have to get that stack! lol! The ribbon is from Pebbles, and was a steal on my trip to Gatlinburg. They have the BEST lss I have ever been in! And, last but not least, red and stardust stickles.

The second card I am still deciding if I like. Its for the Penny Black challenge blog. Boy did I pick a week to join in on their challenges! They had 2 sketches to choose from. I chose the second one, but I am not sure this paper was the right choice. What do you think?
The image is from Penny Black, of course, but its also an image from my friend Jenny. LOVE this image. Going to have to just get the stamp! This lil hedgie is just too comfy and adorable for words! I colored him with bics and copics.

Also, news over at papermom.com! 3 new digis released yesterday! Hop over and check em out, let me know what you think!

Have a great week!

Pretty in punky pink

YAY! I can't believe I *almost* got 3 challenges done this week! WOW! Okay, technically, I got 3 done, but didn't get the "get sketchy" card posted until after the deadline. Boo. BUT they have another great challenge this week, so I will be getting on it earlier this week.

Today I got to the Little Paper Shop challenge. Their challenge was, Pink, Black and White and I was SO excited because that meant I got to use my Miss Anya set again! I am in LOVE and can't WAIT to own a few more!
I colored Miss Anya with my copics and since I lost my black bic marker (sad face) I used this calligraphy marker that...wasn't so....great....::shrug:: My white pen is also on the fritz, so poor Miss Anya's hair just couldn't catch a break today. Stickles were used, of course....stardust and cotton candy. I paper pieced everything I could...purse, stripes, headband...just cause I could. HA! Nuts, yes! Neat effect, YES!!! Last, but not least, I used Core-d'nations pink and black cardstock and a cuttlebug. Need I say more?

So, there it is! I hope that you all have a blessed, fantastic weekend! Stay crafty!

TGIF

Yesterday was a terrible, awful, no good, very bad day....and I managed to still carve out a few minutes for my sanity and work on a couple of challenges I have been neglecting. Can we say, happy therapy?

The first card I made was for Get Sketchy. They have the most inspired sketches and DT around and I love their challenges. SO glad I got this one done! It was lots of fun!
The image is from Penny Black. I don't know who the sentiment is from, though. It was a RAK long, long ago. Copics and Bics were used to color the image. The flower is from prima. I sewed along the edge. The Xs are also sewn.

The second card is for The House Mouse and Friends Challenge. The theme this week was, "at the beach". This image was perfect! I think I received this image from my friend Jenny, but I could be mistaken.
I used Bics and Copics to color the image. Stickles and glassy accents were used for some extra somthin somethin. ;) The sentiment is from Stampin Up. This paper I have literally had for years, so ::shrug:: no clue who made it.

Be sure to come over to my papermom.com blog a little later when I will announce the winner of my followers drawing! And hopefully, maybe...a new tutorial? ;)
